Yes and No. It should be kept cold to prevent product from further fermenting and changing flavor, alcohol percentage, and acidity. But is it harmful to leave out? No

It keeps just fine 3 months, and up to six months if you don't mind it a little stronger.

Not likely, unless you consume a really large amount, have a sensitive stomach, or are susceptible to candida flare-ups.

Yes, in moderation though because there is a trace amount of alcohol. Our children have drank it since quite young.
